LIVESTOCK TRAINEESHIP PROGRAM IN DENMARK

    Real-World Training on Danish Farms

    Participants in the program will work closely with experienced farm professionals in specialized sectors such as farrowing, rearing, milking, and fattening. Whether you’re feeding and cleaning livestock, assisting with birthing and health monitoring, or supporting day-to-day farm operations, the program is designed to develop practical expertise in animal care and farm management.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Animal Care: Feeding pigs or cattle, monitoring health and behavior, administering medications.
    • Farm Maintenance: Ensuring stables and equipment remain clean and functional.
    • Specialized Support: Assisting with birthing, milking, and data collection on livestock productivity.
    • Teamwork & Learning: Working under experienced farm managers and collaborating with local and international staff.

    Participants must be prepared for physically demanding tasks in outdoor and seasonal rural environments, building resilience and adaptability along the way.


    Program Structure and Benefits

    • Duration: 12 to 18 months
    • Work Hours: 37 hours per week (with paid overtime available)
    • Visa Type: Traineeship Visa (processing time: up to 5 months)

    Monthly Salary (before tax):

    • Under 25:
      • First 6 months: DKK 12,803.95
      • Next 12 months: DKK 14,851.37
    • Age 25 and above:
      • First 6 months: DKK 12,803.95
      • Next 12 months: DKK 17,195.39

    Accommodation:
    Trainees will be provided shared housing near their farm, with an approximate monthly rent of €320 including utilities.


    Who Can Apply?

    This program is open to individuals who:

    • Are aged between 18 and 29
    • Are students or recent graduates in Animal Life Science, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary, or Agriculture
    • Possess at least basic English communication skills (B1 level or IELTS 3.0+/KET 120+)
    • Are looking to enhance their skills and build a career in international livestock farming

    Required Documents:

    • CV in EU Helpers format (with a clear, smiling photo)
    • Enrollment letter from your current educational institution
    • Academic transcript
    • Valid, scanned passport copy

    Eligibility Note:
    Applicants from all nationalities are welcome except those from Pakistan, African countries, Somalia, Iraq, Iran, Cuba, Libya, and Syria.
